The Cost of Winning: The Desire to Win Has Become a Losing Battle

The Cost of Winning is a 24 minute documentary that takes an honest look at the impact of an outcome-driven focus on our youth sport system. Drawing from a global perspective, The Cost of Winning connects with some of the most prestigious amateur and professional sport organizations in the world relating to their take on creating quality sport experiences, including:

  • United States Olympic Committee (USOC)
  • Soccer Canada
  • Ski Jumping Federation of Norway
  • Sport New Zealand
  • Ohio State University
  • Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA)
  • National Hockey League (NHL)

Following the screening, a panel of experts will take your questions on developing quality sport experiences. This evening of conversation welcomes all youth sport stakeholders: athletes under 12, parents, educators, coaches and sport organization leaders. Complimentary beverages will be served.
